Had tonsillectomy over a week ago.on the left side there's a string of meat near the bottom and hurts. could my tonsil be regrowing. its the only part?

Post tonsillectomy: You should see your surgeon to determine the nature of the string of meat you saw on L side. It can be a blood clot or a strand of mucosa from the tonsillar pillar. Tonsil do not grow back in 1 week!
