Pharyngitis: Hello, there are many possible causes of what you are seeing. A thrush, dehydration, viral or bacterial pharyngitis all are possible. I would recommend drinking adequate fluids, gargle with salt water and consider ibuprofen. If after 5 days total, if your symptoms still persist, see your doctor for further evaluation.
