Lymph nodes: The size, shape and location of this bean shaped lymph node are consistent with a lymph node and you said that the doctor confirmed it. It sounds like what is called a 'persistent lymph node' and these need to be biopsied after 3 or 4 months to make sure they aren't cancerous but otherwise they can just be monitored.
