Ask your physician: Sally, it is never a good idea to stop psychiatric medications on your own. You can have physical withdrawal symptoms in addition to mood changes and increased anxiety if medication changes are not done carefully. Please ask your psychiatrist about this, and share with him/her WHY you would like to come off of the medication.
