Is anxiety common when 1st starting to take propanaolol er 60 mg? if so how long will it last?

Unusual: Propranol is often used to treat anxiety, in addition to its effectiveness as a blood pressure medication. You may be letting your anxiety get the better of you, but call your Dr if it persists beyond first 2-3 days. (Also, 60mg is a fairly low dose.)
