Arthitis: Inflammation of wrist joint area. If you work on computer or have repetitive movement of the joint, can have this kind of symptoms. Try taking NSAID like Ibuprofen or Naproxen 3/day. Apply Ice to Moist heat. Avoid heavy lifting or repetitive monument of hand for a week and if No improvement then you can get examined by your MD

Tendinitis? Strain?: Pretty common to get this type of pain after strenuous activity using your hands, ie cleaning, painting, writing, sports, etc. Try moist heat to the areas and ibuprofen. If no better in a few days, see a doctor. Good luck!
