Working with your MD: To put it shortly and nicely. Diabetes from age 12 - 54 (42yrs) and a creatinine of 1.2. Ideally creatinine should be less than 1. The weight does not modify expectations for creatinine, but it does concern me that weight loss may help reduce the load on kidneys that are at risk from Diabetes, Weight gain. Losing weight will help create a healthy plan for the years to come.
