Rare finding: In the absence of some type of connective tissue disorder (Marfan syndrome, Ehlers-Danlos) your risk of AAA is extraordinarily small. That being said, the success of palpation is dependent on the size of the patient, the size of the AAA, and the skill of the examiner. But, in someone with no symptoms, minimal risk, and three negative physical exams, I would not be worried about AAA.
