Side effect: It's not uncommon to get flushing with amlodipine. Generally, if this is the only symptom, it's not serious. If it doesn't improve and remains uncomfortable, your doctor may decide to reduce the dose again add or switch to something else. Call your doctor if near passing out; swelling in hands, ankles, or feet; palpitations. Call 911 if SOB, face/throat swelling, or chest pain.
