No it is not ok: I advice you to discuss with your doctor re- your concern. It is not okay to stop it without your doctor's approval or observation.

No: Always consult your doctor before stopping any medication. Amlodepine is a blood pressure medication and untreated high blood pressure can be a silent killer. Please call your doctor and discuss with them rather than treating yourself.
