A member asked:

How many infections do teenagers get on average a year ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Time of year: Number of infections really depends on time of year, occupation, and personal cleaning habits. Everyone gets more illnesses from October to March - adult average is one illness per month. Unusual to get more than 1 or 2 throughout other months of the year. But if you never wash your hands, fruit or eat foods sitting out in summer heat, more likely to pick up stomach bugs during hot weather.
