Is it possible for a child/teenager to get vaginal infection?

If they are : Sexually active than they could be at risk of getting gonorrhea or chlamydia. If they have been treated with antbiotics or have been douching recently the normal bacterial flora of the vagina could change putting them at risk fo yeast or baterical vaginosis, respecitvely. Talk to your local obgyn if concerned.

Sure can: Sexual encounters certainly may cause vaginal infections. So can irritants such as bubble bath, detergents, foreign bodies etc. Also an odd complication of strep throat can cause this. So check with your doctor.

Yes: The vagina is a moist environment near structures that contain germs. It can become irritated or inflamed at any age. The potential causes and treatments vary. In infants it may be a bit of stool, toddlers a bit of toilet tissue or irritation from bath water. As they age their encounters become more complex and the causes more worrisome.
