Short lived: Vomiting and diarrhea related to irritation or infection are typically short lived. Let your body get it all out and then when you feel up to it start slow with clear liquids. Stick with clear liquids until you can take plenty. Then try mild foods like crackers. Food is not essential. You should not need medications.
