GI distress: That violent vomiting and diarrhoea may not have been from the alcoholic drinks. Sounds like you may have picked up a GI virus. Often they move through you violently, but quickly, and can be gone in 24 hrs, leaving you weak and dehydrated. Be sure to drink a lot of water today. Never drink alcohol on an empty stomach (amplifies the effect of alcohol). Start back to solid foods slowly. Avoid milk.

Not related: It is unusual to get such a violent reaction from having 3 drinks . Shaking and diarrhea are not usually associated with a hangover. You more likely had a case a food poisoning or a case of viral infection. If problem continues or worsens, see doctor.
