Not serious: Unfortunately the trend to use hand sanitizer does not have much good science behind it! In fact the use of these chemicals may indeed destroy normal and easily treated bacteria but selectively promote a much more resistant bacterial population that, should they cause an infection are much more difficult to treat

Probably too much : sanitizer which can dry your skin and nails. Try a little aquaphor and cover with bandaids and see how they do.
