Not thyroid: We are quick to blame thyroid but it doesn't have to be thyroid only. There are other possible causes. Stress and adrenal hyperstimulation are major contributors that are often not even considered.

Keep up with Dr.: There may be other causes including underlying Metabolic issues (diabetes), anemia, mono, etc. that could all be causative of some of your symptoms. Some people have a real hard time losing weight, even without Thyroid disease. Keep following up with the Dr. and get tested for other causes and be put on a more regimented exercise and weight loss program structured bu Doc. Best wishes.
