Lymph nodes: Your doctor was probably treating a suspected infection in the lymph node. There are 2 possibilities - either the antibiotic is not working and the infection has spread to another node or the swelling is not due to infection but some other sort of inflammation. I would recommend seeing your doctor again and if needed an ENT specialist.
