High fasting glucose: Hi. Yes, that would be a high fasting glucose (upper limit of normal is 99). It should be repeated; if reproducible, you have impaired fasting glucose/prediabetes. Use serum glucose, not finger stick, for diagnosis. Healthy diet: whole grains, legumes, nuts, canola/olive oil, fruits & veggies, lean meat, nonfat dairy; minimize fast food, processed food, saturated fat, white flour, white rice, etc.
