Should start soon: I usually use 10 mg, but this should work, if it doesn't start soon, you should have a blood test for pregnancy and see your physicisn

10 days..: Is typically the length of the provera (medroxyprogesterone) challenge when we are ruling out causes of secondary amenorrhea (loss of your period). If bleeding doesn't happen by then, then you can add estrogen for 35 days to see if that will produce bleeding. If not, you may need further testing like a hysteroscopy where they look inside the uterus and examine the lining and look for scarring.
