A member asked:

My 5 month old baby scratched her cheek realy deep now there's a scar. will this be permanent?

A doctor has provided 1 answer
Dr. Julan Crane answered

Scar: If it is a scar now it will remain, but hopefully will not be as visible as she ages. When she is old enough for sunscreen, use it to help keep the scar less visible.

I have a dermatofibroma on my right cheek. I picked it two months ago, thinking it was a pimple, grew inflamed, took a month to flatten out. I used azelaic acid on it. The scar remained. It has now returned. What can I do about the red raised bump?
