It should: However, if it persists, or continues to concern you, I would recommend you get checked again to confirm that strep was the only thing causing your sypmtoms and/or that the strep has resolved.

Hoarseness: Gargle with warm salt water solution to relieve hoarseness which can last a week or two after a strep infection
