Pregnancy and dental: Most OB's have a form for the dentist that alert them to what is safe to use and there are many safe antibiotics. In fact women with multiple untreated cavities have a higher preterm labor risk. So, please see your dentist and alert your OB provider so a dental letter can be sent over.

Pregnancy care: Not having the proper dental treatment is usually worse to both you and your unborn child. Certain antibiotics are not harmful when necessary and used as directed. Dental fillings will not harm your baby. You need to discuss treatment with both your own dentist and Obstetrician. They can help answer all your specific questions and concerns.

Many antibiotics: are safe during pregnancy. Poor dental health is more harmful to the baby. See your dentist to see what is causing the tooth pain and treat it. If it is a cavity you do not need antibiotics.
