Normal: When the blood from the menstrual period stays in the vagina for a while, it can settle out and form clots with different colors and can look a lot like tissue when passed. It can also look like very light bleeding followed by heavy bleeding due to the muscular vagina holding contents until the woman relaxes on the toilet.
