Pain: Everyone deals with residual pain differently. Some people would be pain free by now, but it is not uncommon to still have some discomfort. Hopefully in time, the pain, with continuing therapy and treatment, will resolve totally. Best wishes.

No Its not normal!: By now it should have healed with no pain on walking or running. However you might experience some discomfort as you might need to train and get fit. I am sure it should not last more than a couple of weeks. This happens if you haven't trained or ran while the bone was healing. If it is getting worse, then you need to have it seen by your Orthopod. Good Luck.

Need orthotic: You need to go see you family doctor or an orthopedic surgeon. Your foot should be re x-rayed to see if the fracture is still present or may have worsened. If the hairline fracture is still present, your doctor may put you in a post op shoe for four weeks to take stress off of the fracture site. If the fracture has worsened, you will need a cast or be put in a walking boot for four weeks.
