Exercise Secrets: Nope. You work to fatigue as you have done and then you rest this group of muscles for at least one day. Many of your friends at the gym can teach you about rotating muscle groups with your workouts. You want the muscle to fatigue, be sore, break down and then rebuild itself. Make sure you are getting rest between working each group of muscles.

Rest: Part of the body's response to muscular exercise is to become stronger. However, in order to do this, it has to have time to repair the damage done to the muscles during a work out. Strength and mass gains occur during the resting phase, not during the exercise phase, so give your body the break it needs and do not work out a single body part more than every other day.
