Please arrange for COVID-19 and influenza screening. Monitor temperature and breathing, rest, drink fluids. Watch for signs of shortness of breath.

Symptoms alone cannot be used to confirm infection. Take a covid test and take appropriate precautions to prevent infecting others.

Excessive Fatigue is one of the common signs of the new Omicron variant. So, while Testing for Covid is recommended; be sure to Rest a lot, Eat Restorative, Energy giving Meals, take any of these- Aleve/Tylenol/NSAIDs, avoid Cold Food/Drinks and use Steam Inhalation for 5- 10 minutes for stuffy or runny nose. A visit to the PCP might help also.

In addition to the excellent advice from my colleagues, I would definitely add a throat culture for Streptococcus. Absence of a fever at this point, should not prevent the recommended testing.
