Get a consult: High or low? In either case, if you're not satisfied with your physician's explanations, do whatever it takes to get a hematology consult -- especially if you've got easy bruising.

Helpful: If we can see your labs. low persistent platelets may be due medication side effects, idiopathic. You can seek a second medical opinion
