He's fine: Just follow this. Reference ranges are set so that several percent of healthies fall a little bit outside on either end. With platelets at 109, he can have neurosurgery and not worry. Percentages of white cells are meaningless apart from the absolute values; unless these are way, way off or there are weird cells, forget about them if he feels well. Best wishes.
