Can you please explain how and why with low iron sometimes not have a normal amount of oxygen in their blood?

See explanation: Red blood cell have hemoglobin. Hemoglobin carries oxygen to the tissues. If your iron is low, you may be anemic. Therefore the number of red cells is decreased and not as much oxygen is transported to the tissues.
