Could be ...: It very well could be a cause of more symptomatic seborrheic dermatitis or psoriasis, even a plain ole fungal infection. While you could try over-the-counter dandruff shampoos like neutrogena T-gel, you would be best suited by first seeing your doctor to make sure it doesn't require more aggressive treatment.
