Green?: DO you mean green pus, green spit, green what?? If green pus, no thats not normal. See/callyour surgeon.

Tonsils: Some coating (coagulated blood and secretions) is possible. I would not just rely upon the looks of the coating but rather upon the presence of other symptoms - painful swallowing, fever, etc. The coating will clear eventually if that's the only thing bothering you.
