Varies: Presumably, you are referring to scoliosis. It has been shown that curves in the 60 degree range begin to show subtle pulmonary function changes and that curves over 90 degrees are associated with clinical symptoms. If I have someone with a small curve and shortness of breath, another cause should be sought such as reactive airway disease.
