See doctor: If this has been present for more than a week or getting larger, you need to consult your doctor.

See doctor: If you have had the lump more than 1-2 weeks or sooner if it is getting bigger or is painful see your doctor to diagnose it.

Lipoma? Cyst?: Skin cysts can feel like that. Lipomas ( benign fatty tumors ) are common and can feel like you described. How long have you had it ? Weeks ? Years ? If youve had it for years and it hasn't changed you may be able to watch it. If it bothers you or if it's new or if it's growing rapidly have it excised and they will tell you exactly what it is
