Constipation: The medications which you are taking for pain are likely contributing to your constipation. You should continue to hydrate with fluids as much as possible. You may also add a laxative and stool softener to help with your constipation. You should also see if it's possible to change the medication to non opioid based medication to control your pain, your doctor would be best to make this decision.

Doubtful: More likely the pain meds are causing your constipation and the constipation is also causing you pain. Discuss with your your pain doc as maybe non-narcotic pain meds would be better if you can wean off the narcotic ones. Best wishes.
