Good idea: Should be a chewable baby aspirin. This reduces risks of stroke, heart attack, colon cancer, ovarian cancer, melanoma and other skin cancers. The dose is 81mg----a baby aspirin. Note that any coated or buffered aspirin is going to fail in half the people who take it. Also there is no benefit to coated aspirin: it does not reduce gastric bleeding. So best is CHEWABLE. Her DR probably already assume

Not recommended: Aspirin is not recommended at that age even in those with Diabetes.
