Not normal: It would be prudent to contact the surgeon and/or the hospital where you had surgery so that the bumps can be evaluated by in-person examination.

Call the doctor's office as usually there is some other doctor assigned to cover a given doctor's patients. Certainly the hospital will have other doctors who can evaluate you.
