Hi, i had a laparascopic appendectomy 4 days ago..is it normal to have a small hard lump above incision that goes when i lay down and swells when up?

Probably normal: It's most likely normal due to the stitches placed during surgery but could also represent small hernia if the port site was not closed. Your surgeon should be able to explain to you the reason for this during your post op visit.
