TMD specialist: Although, your orthodontist or general dentist certainly can tell you if you have a problem with your jaw joint, the TMD specialist is perhaps the one with the most experience in this area.

Maybe: But first discuss your concerns with your orthodontist. If a referral is indicated, you will get the best result if both providers are use to working together.
