Sounds like it: Hard question for anybody to answer except yourself....which I think you just did by the way you formulated your question. However, if you are hesitant to return due to the uncertainty of what could happen then, check with your dentist. They may able to guide you better as to what you can normally expect following such a procedure.

If pain is under : Control, then yes, you can return to work. However, if you have been feeling fine for several days and then suddenly experience pain again, a reevaluation by your dentist is in order to make sure you have not developed an infection or a dry socket.

Yes, you can: Wisdom teeth extraction is a surgical procedure and is not completely risk-free. Pain, swelling, bad breath and infection following surgery is usually at its worst 24 – 48 hours after surgery. After that it should subside more and more every day and after 7 days stop. Do not miss work and good luck.
