Need more info: I don't think that the BM's &amp; the attendant menstrual period are connected. The loose stools &amp; mucus indicate some irritation in your intestinal tract. See your family physician for an exam. If he/she is unable to come up with a diagnosis he/she may refer you to a gastroenterologist.
