My thoracoplasty to reduce scoliosis rib hump could not be performed as the protrusion was mainly caused by fusion mass. can anything else be done?

Thoracoplasty fusion: Its hard to say no/never. But honestly, an attempted op could be VERY dangerous. You can always find some surgeon somewhere who will over promise results. Get 2 or 3 opinions from different excellent spine surgical groups. If you have the funds consult the Mayo clinic, the Cleveland Clinic and Cedars-Sinai medical center. You may be able to get them to review your current spine imaging.
