Hard to tell: Without looking at the X-ray it is difficult to say. But if the curve is bad enough then it may very well cause breathing problems. Best talk to your doctor and think of necessary treatment

Scoliosis: Unless severe and/or accompanied by significant thoracic deformity, incidentally discovered idiopathic scoliosis would not likely cause any breathing problems.
