What bug leaves a red mark that blisters and runs pus?

Afraid that many: different types of insect can cause this type of reaction. If the area becomes red, swollen, warm, with increased pain & red streaking please get seen. I am assuming that what is described as pus may be reactive material from the bite. Take care.
