Few weeks back had a large bubble blister on heel. popped naturally in bed a week ago. i foolishly left it alone. it flattened and theres no pus or pain however its red around the edge. i walk a lot im wondering if its infected or just irritated?

You should apply a topical antibiotic after cleaning the wound. Cover with a dressing or bandaid Continue to do this until healed. The skin will heal from the border. Cause of this blister needs to be considered or it will continue to occur see a podiatrist for proper treatment and assessment .
