Cough & Choking: Coughing for two hours most likely caused your pharynx to become irritated and inflamed. Now you have a cough and mucus, you may possibly have a pharyngitis. Vist your doctor and he can evaluate your throat and see if you may need antibiotics or if good hydration and lots of fluid intake will solve your situation. Feel better soon.

Coughing: May occur due to irritation or ulceration of the throat. If mucus appears purulent or greenish or rusty concern will be infection

Coughing: You may have aspirated the peanut into your lungs. If coughing continues see your doctor for a chest x ray to rule out aspiration
