Every time i take a deep breath i cough. it's a dry cough but every now and again a tiny amount of mucus comes up. it's been two weeks now. why?

Likely a virus but..: viral infections are the main cause of cough for a few weeks, whether making mucous or not. If you felt sick, like when you get a cold, when it first started, that is the most likely explanation and you will probably be feeling better in a couple weeks, and need to get checked if not. Also get checked right away, like ER, if you feel very sick, have fever above 100.5, or are short of breath

Bronchitis: You could possibly have bronchitis or bronchospasm related to allergies. After 2 weeks you should probably see a doctor for an exam to determine what's going on.
