Constipation...: Sounds like you might be having severe constipation. The pain and blood might be associated with hemorrhoids or fissures which are very common to happen when people get constipated and strains a lot in order to have a successful bowel movement. Eat lots of fiber( fruits and veggies), water, prune juice, oatmeal. If symptoms are persistent or worse and blood profuse get evaluated with your PCP ASAP.

Blood: If I understand you correctly, you are having abdominal pain /gas and you are passing blood. If that is the case see a physician immediately. There are a lot of possibilities but you need a serious exam ASAP. Go to the ER.

Worrisome: This is worrisome. Possibilities include an infectious colitis (not so bad), inflammatory bowel disease (pretty serious), and a few other possibilities. In any event, see your doctor right away.

Seek GI evaluation: i would recommend being seen and evaluated by a Gastroenterologist as your symptoms are suggestive of tenesmus (urge to poop), but also the passage of blood should be further evaluated with a possible colonoscopy, etc.
