Waiting time@MDs: If you have been told that the waiting time is over 1 year, find different specialist. There are lots of tertiary care center with specialists that can see you, depending on your location. Have your primary care MD help by calling the specialist, sometimes they can accommodate patients earlier this way.

See your physician!: Please do not worry about waiting for one year to see a specialist. Just make an appointment to see your doctor. If you do not have one, go to a walking clinic.
