Why wont my swollen groin lymph node go down? i have had a swollen lymph node in my groin now for a few months. i do not appear to have an infection!

Scarring: The node may be scarred and may take longer than a few months to shrink in size. You may feel the node every couple of weeks, if the lymph gland doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, you should see a doctor.
