Well...: At this point you should see your Dr. You need a direct exam of the area. Besides, Prevacid (lansoprazole) would only take care of it if it has to do with reflux

Reflux: Make sure you are taking max daily dose of Prevacid (lansoprazole) at 30 mg per day. Anti reflux treatment can take as long as 6 weeks to 3 months to see improvement. Give it at least a full month of daily medication before giving up.

I have acid relfux ( acid coming up). PPIs ( Prilosec, Nexium, and Prevacid) give dizziness and swelling in my throat. Doc won't put me on prescription. Zantac and Pepcid isn't strong enough. No h.pylori. Should I take ppi regardless of side effects?
